Fettuccine Alfredo

Ingredients

  • 1 stick of butter
  • 2 tbsp garlic, minced
  • 2 cups heavy cream

  • 2 cups parmesan, freshly shredded

  • 1 lb. fettuccine

  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

Step 1: Boil fettuccine per package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Step 2: While noodles are cooking, melt the butter over low heat. Once melted, add in your diced garlic and cook about 2-3 minutes.

Step 3: Pour in heavy cream and stir until well combined. Stir continuously for about 5 minutes until the cream is warm but not hot. Add in salt, pepper, garlic powder and nutmeg. Taste to ensure seasoning is to your liking.

Step 4: In batches, add in your Parmesan. Ensure that each batch is melted before you add in the next batch.

Step 5: Add noodles to the sauce and mix to combine.
